#1-Yes,because she was very proud.#2-Because he liked their simple ways and innocence and probaly didnt approve of dressing up like that.
1. Meg's feelings were hurt because she doesn't like thinking of herself as poor.
2. Laurie was disappointed because Meg let Mrs. Muffit dress her in clothes that weren't her style and she drunk alot of wine that made her sick
